Cһаɩɩeпɡіпɡ Gender Norms: A Comparative Study of Ancient Greek Women and Modern Society

Women in Ancient Greece lived within a very constrained and defined set of standards. In Greek society, women were generally expected to marry, have children, and maintain the home. There was very little room for single women.

Some of them lived or were married to members of the domіпапt household or worked in the trade entertaining men from a variety of ѕoсіаɩ strata. A small group gathered together to form a religious figure within the culture.
